Zen Evolution 190 / 220 - ideal way to start windsurfing!
These boards provide maximum comfort and fun to get you started.
The long outline proves ideal for stability, feet pressure and tolerance. The progressive scoop line guarantees a stable and easy planing start and a good glide at low speed. The double concave allows reducing the wetted surface when planing while increasing performance. The soft and comfortable EVA full-pad shall protect the board when moving it up and down on the beach as well as the rider in case of fall.

Which volume to choose?
These boards are designed for windsurfing schools or beginners and allow you to successfully begin windsurfing on your own within just a few hours, all the while enjoying the experience. Forgiving of strap-in errors, these boards quickly help you learn how to plane, thanks to their excellent speed even in moderate winds.
The Zen series of boards offers a variety of shapes designed for riders of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced riders. The boards' displacement and bottom contours ensure smooth acceleration while maintaining stability and comfort for beginners. The boards feature a full EVA deck, comfortable for children and beginners alike. The centerboard is fully foldable.
The Zen 190 's shape is a direct continuation of the 220 Zen. The bottom contour remains progressive, but the volume has been significantly reduced, giving the board a more refined look thanks to the thinner rails. It's more responsive to footwork and more maneuverable. This is the ideal board for lighter riders and for independent riding without the supervision of an instructor. Riding the Zen 190, even a slightly more advanced beginner will begin to feel the correct foot placement and pressure distribution on the board. The board is suitable for any sail size.
Rider range: 165 to 200 lbs
The Zen 220 features a progressive bottom contour that ensures smooth acceleration. The board's long contour provides good lift and a smooth glide at low speeds. Its voluminous sides make it ideal for learning due to its stability on the water, progressive planing, and smooth ride. This voluminous board is nevertheless incredibly responsive; incorrect foot placement or body positioning on the board will not be noticeable. It is suitable for any sail size.

Construction
The AHD Zen is built on a Wood sandwich base. From 10,5 kg, we follow a unique manufacturing process during which all layers of fabrics, reinforcements, and casings are applied in a double-shell mold, then baked following a process allowing an ideal polymerization of resins for a perfect reproduction and an optimal weight/solidity ratio. The resin used for the construction of our boards is a biosourced epoxy SR GreenPoxy (more than 33% of the molecules come from plant sources).
