Orders & Purchasing

Can I order online and pick up in store?

Yes. Place your order on the site and let us know you'd like to pick it up in person. Give us a call at 954-523-7778 or email Orders@liquidsurfandsail.com after ordering and we'll have it ready for you at our Fort Lauderdale location at 2901 W. Oakland Park Blvd, Suite A1.

Do you sell used or consignment gear?

We do. We occasionally have used and consignment boards, SUPs, kayaks, and windsurf gear in stock. Check the Closeout & Used sections on the site, or give us a call — our team knows what's on the floor. Note that all used and consignment sales are final and are not eligible for returns.

Do you offer price matching?

We work hard to be competitive on price across our product lineup. Several of our customers have noted we carry some of the lowest prices available on specific brands. If you've found a lower price on the same in-stock item from an authorized dealer, reach out and we'll do our best to work with you. Call 954-523-7778 or email us before you order.

Can I cancel or change my order after it's placed?

Contact us as quickly as possible at Orders@liquidsurfandsail.com or 954-523-7778. If your order hasn't shipped yet, we can typically make changes. Once an item has shipped, standard return procedures apply.

Heads up: Special order items, efoils, and electronic components that are cancelled or returned are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Do you ship internationally?

Yes — we're centrally located in Fort Lauderdale and regularly ship to the Caribbean, Bahamas, Mexico, Central and South America, and beyond. For international orders, reach out to Orders@liquidsurfandsail.com before placing your order so we can get you an accurate shipping quote. Our logistics team can handle everything from small parcel to full container loads.

Do gift certificates expire?

Nope. Gift certificates never expire and can be used on any purchase. They cannot be redeemed as cash.

Shipping

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes — free Economy Ground Shipping on orders over $149 to the lower 48 states. Just add items to your cart, select Free Economy Ground Shipping at checkout, and you're set. This offer excludes oversized items like kayaks, paddleboards, and large boards.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Small parcel orders ship within 1–3 business days and arrive within 2–10 business days via Economy Ground, depending on your location.

Freight items (kayaks, SUPs, sailboats, windsurfing boards, efoils, large lithium battery items) ship via freight carrier and typically take 3–15 business days. These are estimated timeframes, not guarantees.

You'll receive a confirmation email within minutes of ordering and a tracking number when your order ships.

What's the deal with freight shipping on large items?

Large items like kayaks, paddleboards, windsurfing boards, sailboats, and anything with a big lithium battery ship via freight carrier. We post a flat rate for most of the continental US, but if you're in a rural or extended service area, there may be additional charges. We'll reach out to you before shipping if that's the case.

What do I do if my freight item arrives damaged?

This is important — read carefully before your delivery arrives.

Inspect everything before the driver leaves. Open the packaging, look over the item, and note any damage directly on the Bill of Lading (BOL). Write "Damaged" and describe it specifically — do not write "subject to inspection" as that won't support a claim.

If the item is damaged beyond repair, refuse it on the spot and contact us the same day at 954-523-7778. If damage is cosmetic and you want to keep it, note it on the BOL and we can file a freight claim on your behalf.

48-hour rule: All shipping damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Save all packaging — don't throw anything away until you've confirmed every item and part is present and accounted for.
Do you ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico?

Yes, but our standard shipping rates only apply to the 48 contiguous states. Contact us before placing your order and we'll work out the best rate for your location: Orders@liquidsurfandsail.com or 954-523-7778.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy?

You have 30 days from the date of purchase to request a return. You can get a refund, store credit, or exchange — your call. We'll refund the full amount you paid less actual shipping charges, which may be higher than what you paid at checkout.

Items must be new, unused, and in original packaging with tags. No returns on gear that's been used in the water or for its intended use.

Who pays for return shipping?

You are responsible for return shipping costs and arrangements. On items with free or flat-rate shipping, actual shipping charges will be assessed at the time of return. For freight items, once shipped you are responsible for any and all freight charges to return the item.

Can I return discounted, used, or consignment gear?

No. All sales on discounted, used, and consignment items are final. If you have questions about a specific item before buying, give us a call — we're happy to walk you through condition and specs before you commit.

Are there restocking fees?

A 15% restocking fee applies to cancelled or returned special order items, efoils, e-motors, and electronic components. Standard gear returned within 30 days in original condition does not carry a restocking fee.

Financing

Do you offer financing?

Yes. We offer financing options including Affirm and Shop Pay Installments, so you can break bigger purchases into manageable payments. Given our average order values — boards, foils, and efoils can run well into the thousands — financing is a great way to get on the water without the sticker shock. What kinds of purchases qualify for financing?

Most products in our catalog are eligible. Financing is particularly popular for higher-ticket items like efoils, electric jetskis, underwater scooters, kayaks, complete windsurfing packages, and wing surf setups. Eligibility is determined at checkout through the financing provider.

How do I know which board / kit is right for me?

That's exactly what we're here for. Our team rides what we sell — we're not order-takers, we're actual watersports people. Tell us your skill level, what you're trying to do, where you're riding, and your budget, and we'll point you in the right direction. Do you carry parts and replacement components?

Absolutely. Parts are one of our core strengths — we carry deep inventory in windsurfing components (we're a major Chinook dealer), foil hardware, kayak accessories, and more. If you need a replacement mast base, universal joint, fin bolt, footstrap, or harness line, there's a solid chance we have it in stock or can source it fast. Search the site or call us.

What brands do you carry?

We're stoked on the lineup we've put together. Key brands include Naish, Duotone, Slingshot, Chinook, Tahe Outdoors, Aquaglide, Mystic, YakAttack, RAM Mounting Systems, Dynamic Dollies, Flite, Epropulsion, SeaBob, SubBlue, Feelfree, Starboard, and more. Do you sell efoils and electric watersports gear?

Big yes. Electric foils, jet boards, electric jetskis, underwater scooters (SeaBob, SubBlue), electric outboards, electric pod drives, and more. This is one of the fastest-growing areas of our business and we stay ahead of what's new and what actually performs. Do you outfit resorts, marinas, and commercial buyers?

Yes — this is a core part of what we do. We work with resorts, marinas, yacht programs, camps, and waterfront properties looking to stock their fleets or activity centers. Whether it's a full lineup of rental kayaks, luxury yacht toys, commercial waterpark inflatables, or banana boat towables, we have the inventory and the logistics experience to make it happen. Do you help with gear setup, rigging, or troubleshooting?

When we can, yes. Our team has helped customers set up trainer kites, dial in rig settings, troubleshoot electric motor issues, and more — sometimes with gear they didn't even buy from us. If you're stuck, give us a call or stop in. We'd rather you get on the water happy than leave you guessing.

Where are you located?

Our main location (Liquid Surf) is at 2901 W. Oakland Park Blvd, Suite A1, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311. We also operate Nautical South as a second location. We're about one mile north of Fort Lauderdale International Airport, making us a convenient stop before you fly home or jump on a cruise.
