This system also has a fleet of inflatable ROWonAIR designed boats specifically with rowing performance in mind. ROWonAIR offers the ability to row both traditionally, with RowMotion and in the direction you're facing with our innovative RowVista system:
RowMotion - Our traditional rowing system. We sell this version two ways: with our carbon fiber 2 piece oars, or with no oars (you can use your old Concept2 oars from college).
RowVista Forward Facing Rowing System - Our innovative, patented, forward facing rowing system. RowVista is a maintenance free rowing system that lets you see where you are going! Using stainless steel bearings and carbon fiber oar blades/tubes the quality and craftsmanship is unparalleled. RowVista is the only forward facing rowing system in the world that allows you to feather the blades!!!
The ROWonAIR rowing skid has two rigger configurations:
F-Rigger - This rigger is for mounting on flat boards, it is lower profile and very sleek looking.
Y-Rigger - This rigger is for mounting in boats with gunwales. Great for mounting to canoes, shells and even dinghies!

The ROWonAIR Universal Rowing Unit is the world’s best drop-in rowing unit. It's easily mounted on any paddleboard or surfski with the F-type rigger, or mounted inside a shell or other rowing boat with the Y-type rigger. All of this, and you can bring it with you on vacation as checked luggage!
F- or Y-Type Outriggers
F-type outriggers are ideal for paddle boards or surfskis and Y-type outriggers can be mounted in kayaks, canoes, inflatable dinghies, and many other crafts. Check the schematics to measure your boat and find out if ROWonAIR will fit.
Air Travel Ready Bag System
ROWonAIR rowing units feature a bag system that has no equal. Each part has its own bag, then those bags fit inside a large padded wheel bag for easy transport and can even be checked as luggage on an airplane as sporting equipment!
Lighting Fast Assembly
All parts quickly and easily attach to the main center bar using red clamp levers. Essentially, slide the part onto the bar then flip the lever over and it is installed. The entire rowing unit can be assembled in less than 60 seconds.
Quick Attachment Hooks
Attaching the rowing unit is done in mere seconds thanks to the retractable hooks in each end of the unit. You simply extend the hooks to a centralized D-ring or padeye and then pull tight.
High Friction Rubber Feet with Universal Mounting
Rubber feet prevent slipping fore and aft as well as side to side. Just above the feet are holes that allow passing a strap through the feet. This allows you to mount the ROWonAIR Universal Rowing Unit to any SUP or board by simply wrapping the strap around the board and pulling it tight.
Carbon and Anodized Aluminum Construction
The ROWonAIR Universal Rowing Unit is beautiful. The matte anodized aluminum main bar plays nicely with the sleek lines of the glossy carbon fiber outrigger. These materials combine for an ultra-rigid rowing unit.
