Feelfree Lure II Tandem
Three stars are due to it arriving with a missing bolt and wrong mounting hardware for the Overdrive. Shipping directions were very specific not to sign the BOL until the unit was inspected. My wife was searching for the gravity seat bolt and the driver just left. I have emailed customer service and will happily edit the review when the Overdrive hardware and seat bolt are shipped. Kayak itself came heavily wrapped and showed no signs of damage. Sonar pod is made of way thinner material than expected but I cannot comment on durability yet as I haven’t had it on the water yet. Integrated wheel in the stern makes it super easy to move around the garage, but I’m not sure if utility on other surfaces. Directions left a lot to be desired. There was no owners manual of any sort but I found videos online easy enough to install beaver tail rudder and seats. The Overdrive came with a manual but, as stated, the wrong hardware. Specifically, the metal plate that you bolt on wasn’t there, just a plastic piece that I think is for the Lure 11.5. Also, the directions say to refer to page three and the kayak serial number to determine if it is first or second run…but there is not a page three, goes from 2-4. I’m a little disappointed that we are missing some stuff but overall I don’t doubt the dealer will hook us up with the required hardware and we are excited to get the yak onto the water!
