The Nomad line is a sharp departure from our existing offering, available in 2026 with 16’ LV and MV displacements.
We leaned into more traditional European designs with sharper, elongated chines and rocker for improved edging
and carving. This boat is both playful and stable in the surf and an excellent full featured expedition kayak.
Recognizing the paddlers’ needs in this segment, the seat position is more central in the cockpit for comfortable
back-deck rolling. The embedded compass mount, 3 bulkheads, stern-deck day hatch, stern-deck paddle recess for
remounting and contoured spare paddle storage, will hit many buttons for the avid coastal Sea Kayaker. We’ve
reinforced the decks and hulls for tougher usage in rescues, remounting and anchoring sail mounts as well as hull
reinforcements for rock gardening. This skeg driven boat uses the innovative Kajak-Sport #4 skeg, with an optional
over-stern rudder plumbing option.

Description: Very stiff and light, yet more affordable than the Alpha. Kevlar® adds impact strength to the laminate - Gelcoat finished heat cured epoxy Kevlar® and Fiberglass laminate with Nomex® Honeycomb Core. Great for racing, or those looking for a light boat, but not as impact resistant as the Multi-sport or Advantage constructions.

Description: Single skin laminate hull made of Carbon & Kevlar® fabric, with clear gelcoat finish, and the deck is the standard Advantage construction. The hull is designed to be flexible and durable, but creates a stiff boat that can take some abuse in class I and II rapids and shallows, but is also at home in the ocean or the flats. The Surf Ski Multi-Sport construction comes standard with an over-stern rudder, as well as a flush mounted Andersen Super mini-bailer.

Description: Great combination of weight, stiffness, durability and cost. Gelcoat finished heat cured infused epoxy Fiberglass and Soric® core laminate is very tough and resists against punctures. A great race boat on a tight budget. The Advantage hits the mark for price to weight ratio for most kayak paddlers.
